Crops not shops humble beginnings started in a small seaside town in essex called southend on sea, with some people gathering at a small allotment each week plotting how we can save the world and change the whole system from the polluted food, poisoned river and streams and the entire health crisis and illnesses within our children we knew we had to act and when the pandemic hit it really put into perspective how fragile our system really is. 
So during the pandemic our founder had a vision to plant food in peoples gardens and get them to share it between themselves, we did all the work and setting up the growing spaces for them for free with the condition they make friends with there neighbours and keep sharing the food between people. 

So we transformed 40 gardens, 3 neglected council spaces into growing hubs for community and local residential use, we was on a mission to get communities built and to get people growing food, connecting back to nature and remembering who we really are. 

2 years fast forward to now 2024 and we have a fully functioning living thriving community shared farming model in glastonbury that offers so many of the worlds problems as solutions, working with lands owners, farmers and others to change the use from single owned to community shared lands.

We are in the wild midsts of great changes both ecologically & spiritually and our Mother earth is calling us all home, 

Back to nature, Back to our hearts, back to living in the natural rhythms of her ways again, in harmony with her cycles, in tune to her seasons, abundant, gentle and with love

Our mission is to partner and collaborate with land owners, Farmers, Growers, Change makers & like hearted projects to create community shared farming models of land diversification, (intentional) Community living, Regenerative agriculture, natural health and wellness centres, Home education spaces, and equal fair shares for all Living things.

We aim to be a bridge into urban areas that pioneer, co-create and build FREE & fair food sharing networks ( FAFF ) everywhere, 

giving everyone access to natural organic nutritional food by transforming people's gardens & neglected public green spaces into abundant thriving havens of biodiversity for people & nature's wildlife.
