IN LOVE
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Crops Not Shops is a revolutionary grassroots movement that is bringing people together on land to help remember how we lived in tribes, in communities as a village. We know the power that comes from coming together when we sit and reason around the sacred fires, when we connect with others, and when we celebrate each other's cultures, roots, and unique essence. By doing so, we can figure out and learn how to change the narrative from anti-life to pro-life.
Its got to come back to love.
living in community and being together again.
We have over 19 areas to full joy at the gathering from music stages, healing areas, family and children's areas, men's temple, women temples, red tent collectives, hand and land craft village, haile selassie prayer village, 3 sacred fires burning throughout the gathering, regenerative agriculture, esoteric wisdom, and so much more
OUR IMPACT & SUSTAINABLE CHOICES
We are a totally off grid low impact project that has a deep emphasis on Earth care and low waste, no plastic policy and know that all our choices have lasting effects on the planet and future generations. Festivals and gatherings can be some of biggest polluters on earth so we have to set a standard and change that.

Mamma Village
Mamma Village is a growing community network of 160 mothers in Glastonbury, co-creating our collective vision of a nourished and supported family of belonging, where mothering and the journey of Matrescence is at the centre of our awareness. Together we share this precious and life changing journey, together we grow our children, together we help one another. Feeding, supporting, nourishing each other with openness, equality and love. Everyone is welcome in our Village and together we thrive. @Mammavillageavalon was created by Rebekah Mené Spirito in 2022 and since has blossomed into a huge project of mothers, supporting each other. We meet regularly, to share food, dance, yoga and well-being events, we share our hearts, we discuss parenting skills, and together solve problems and issues together as a family. We truly believe that together we are re-weaving something our bones remember, and parenting in a way that is respectful, and kind to our children. If someone in the village is having a difficult time, like bees we work together to support that person back to fullness. Our online community group is a hub of questions, stories, challenges and triumphs. A powerful web of Mothers -where you can get any question answered, receive a pre loved bag of baby clothes or new buggy, or medicine dropped to your door late at night! The funding we received in 2023 has enabled us to support families further, providing care vouchers for pregnancy massage, osteopath treatments, acupuncture, cranial sacral therapy, mother's blessings, closing the bones, and pre-post natal support groups. We also have some funded spaces available for seasonal Mothers yoga, dance, singing and turning of the wheel events- where we gather as tribe to celebrate the turning season. We have done seed planting days, food sharing parties, earth mandalas and more! In 2024 we received 20k further funding from the national lottery, and now we have an excellent post natal team too. We look forward to joining the festival to share our vision and offer some fantastic workshops all created by mother's of the MAMMA VILLAGE AVALON If you would like to join our mamma village community you can email mammavillageavalon@gmail.com

WE Raise the oxytocin to giddy levels!. To be pregnant, right now, in the 21st century is a huge opportunity and a mighty adventure. We are all living in a time of immense uncertainty. To heal the world we need to heal birth, so that money and protocol no longer dictate a medical model of care that results in high rates of cesarean section and intervention, traumatised families and midwives in prison.
