Our community market garden in Glastonbury is at the heart of Crops Not Shops, embodying our vision for a regenerative, community-focused food system.
It serves as both a food production hub and an educational resource for the local community.
We believe that access to fresh, healthy, and sustainably grown food should be a right, not a privilege.
VOLUNTEER
Here at Crops not shops we have learned that in order for the land to thrive, we need to thrive as individuals and connect with one another. Every weekday we gather in circle to check-in with our heart family, we also eat a community meal together where we bless and hold gratitude for our food, that will nourish our bodies after a productive day tending to the land.
We have feel good fridays, where we tend to ourselves and needs, sometimes this can be holistically or practically, laundry, sound healing, laughter yoga, charity shopping, getting creative, massage, meditation, board games, herbal teas or taking time for yourself.
Whatever you need.
We are learning to grow together, growing not only food, but also ourselves. We have a right to be together, really be together. for it all.

'THE LAND'
The crops not shops land is 22 acres of beautiful Somerset soil, we are an intentional grassroots movement that grow our own food, home educate our children, live together in community and use regenerative practices where we can. We have fresh spring water, compost toilets, solar powered, overlooking the Glastonbury tor it's a magical and blessed land.
At Crops not Shops, we embrace the spirit, heart based communication and working together. Our home is your home, you are a part of the community, our heart family.
